Air India's special flight has departed from Barbados to bring back the victorious Indian cricket team after their T20 World Cup 2024 win following their stranding due to Hurricane Beryl.

Air India Flight Brings Team India Home

A special chartered flight by Air India has departed from Barbados Airport to bring the victorious Indian cricket team back home after their T20 World Cup 2024 win. The call sign of the Air India plane is "AIC24WC". The Men in Blue have been stranded in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl, which has caused chaos in the Caribbean islands.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has offered the stranded Indian media personnel in Barbados the opportunity to travel with the team back home

Due to the hurricane's destructive nature, the team was advised to stay in their hotels. They have been in the country since their victory on 29 June. Finally, with the weather clearing in Barbados, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) arranged a special chartered flight for the team to return home.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has also offered the stranded Indian media personnel in Barbados the opportunity to travel with the team back home. Indian fans eagerly await Team India's return following their second T20 World Cup win.
