Flight QP 1335 was carrying 174 passengers, including three infants and seven crew members. “The Akasa Air Emergency Response teams are monitoring the situation and have advised the pilot to divert the flight to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi as a precaution,” said the airline spokesperson. The airline noted that the flight captain followed all necessary emergency protocols to ensure a safe landing in Delhi. Akasa Air added that it remains in constant coordination with local authorities. “Our teams are on the ground and prepared to assist all passengers to ensure their safety and comfort," the airline stated. A bomb threat was made against an IndiGo flight on Wednesday, the airline's second such event in two days. After the aircraft was isolated, the Mumbai-Delhi flight was rerouted to Ahmedabad, where passengers disembarked, an IndiGo representative said. Priorities one and two are passenger and crew safety and security, the official emphasized. Bomb threats were made on two aircraft operated by IndiGo and one by Air India on Tuesday. The most recent instance comes after seven jets on Tuesday, one of which was headed to the United States, received bomb threat warnings via social media. Officials say that security services conducted counterterrorism drills at several airports because of this. #Akasa air #Delhi #at IGI Airport Delhi #IGI Airport Delhi #Delhi Airport #Akasa #Delhi NCR Subscribe to our Newsletter!
