Direct Flights to Kuala Lumpur
Beginning on September 15, 2024, Air India will offer nonstop flights between Delhi and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Air India will run daily flights on the new route using an Airbus A320neo aircraft, which is designed for two classes.
In addition to providing a new flight option for the growing number of travellers between India and Malaysia, the new route will expand Air India's network of destinations in Southeast Asia and create new avenues for travelers from Malaysia to access the airline's worldwide route network.
"With this new daily service, we are happy to support the rapidly expanding tourism and trade corridor between India and Malaysia," said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer of Air India.
In addition to serving travellers travelling between the two countries, this route will provide easy one-stop connections for those visiting Malaysia's wonders from Europe and North America. Travellers from the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe will be able to make easy one-stop connections via Delhi thanks to the new services to Kuala Lumpur.
Currently, Air India flies non-stop between India and five points in Southeast Asia, namely Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket (Thailand), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), and Yangon (Myanmar). The new flights are being progressively opened for bookings on airindia.com, and through travel agents worldwide.
