APPOINTMENT
Avison Young has announced the appointment of Cole Spain as Vice President in the firm’s Hospitality Group. Cole Spain has facilitated and advised on more than US$ 597M in debt, structured finance and investment sales transactions throughout his career.


“Spain brings extensive experience and expertise in debt, structured finance and investment sales across a wide range of asset classes including hospitality, multifamily, retail, mixed-use, condominium, senior living, self-storage, land and special use assets, which will be a tremendous addition to Avison Young’s Hospitality Group,” said Brad Sinclair, Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Atlanta office. “We’re thrilled to welcome Cole to our Atlanta-based team.”
Prior to joining Avison Young, Cole Spain served as Director of Business Development at Twenty Degrees North, a debt and structured finance brokerage, where he executed hotel and commercial real estate financing transactions and advised private credit lenders across an array of capital structures including conventional financing, bridge, construction, CMBS, CPACE, mezzanine, preferred equity, equipment financing and special assessments. Spain also served as Vice President of the Hospitality Group at Bull Realty, where he notably led the firm’s first hotel deal since the Great Financial Crisis, independently sourcing both the seller and buyer.
