New Update

For the first time in its history, the Flying Kangaroo has taken off from Brisbane to Port Vila, the harborside capital of Vanuatu. The inaugural service, QF159, was at full capacity, with holidaymakers and business travellers making the nearly 3-hour journey to one of the Pacific’s hidden gems.

The new route will have three direct weekly flights from the Sunshine State. Additionally, from December 12, 2024, Jetstar will offer up to four weekly flights between Sydney and Port Vila. With both airlines combined, this will create more than 150,000 new seats each year between Australia and Vanuatu, making it easier than ever for Australians to experience the beaches, rich culture, and unique adventures Vanuatu offers.
