Korean Air Lines Co. Ltd., the flag carrier of South Korea and its most extensive airline service, has announced the launch of its daily flights from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport to Macau International Airport, as well as three weekly flights to Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon.
According to a statement published by Korean Air, the flight service is all set to start on 1 July; it will depart from Incheon International Airport at 9:15 PM and will be scheduled to arrive in Macau at 11:55 PM. Similarly, the return flights are scheduled to depart at 1:10 AM and will arrive in Seoul at 6:00 AM.
The decision has been taken by the airline as a response to the growing travel circulation needs with China in the country and to fortify its presence in the global market. To solidify the commitment, Korean Air, from 24 April 2024, also resumed their weekly to-and-fro flights between Seoul and China’s Zhangjiajie as well as Zhengzhou.
The next goal for the airline is said to be the routes between Europe and Asia where the aviation company is planning to stimulate the travel relations between the two continents. For the same, flights are scheduled to fly between Seoul and Lisbon from 11 September 2024 to 25 October 2024, three times a week. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with 290-seating capacity have been selected for the route. Plans to resume the route in the winter season are currently under discussion.
