Phuket and Bangkok are also gaining popularity due to the anticipation surrounding an Emmy-winning TV comedy drama's third season. This has made them potential hotspots for next year, ranking 16th and 20th, respectively.

UK travellers have shown interest in new destinations. Nashville is now at number 22 on the list, possibly due to the renewed popularity of country music. Corfu follows at number 23 with the opening of new hotels. Lastly, Australia appears at number 25.

Los Angeles is set to host a series of major sporting events in the near future, which could be a significant factor in its recent rise in popularity as a destination. Additionally, Grenada has gained attention from viewers of a recent popular TV show, resulting in a significant jump of five places in rankings.

You can now book holiday packages with British Airways for short-haul destinations closer to home. Enjoy beach holidays in the Algarve for seven nights starting at £249 per person or Halkidiki for seven nights starting at £379 per person. You can secure your holiday with deposits starting from just £60 per person and then pay off the balance in as many instalments as you wish.

Flight Only Deals

Customers have a wide range of flight-only fares to choose from. For instance, return flights from London Gatwick to New York start at £338, and flights to Orlando start at £349. Return flights from London Heathrow to Dubai start at £439, and flights to Barbados start at £489. Additionally, flights to Abu Dhabi start at £390, and flights to Kuala Lumpur, launching in November 2024, start at £599.

Travelers seeking luxury can enjoy Club Europe (business class) fares at reduced prices. These fares include lounge access, a full meal service, and more personal space. These flights are available from London Heathrow to Pisa for £198, Prague for £220, and Berlin for £241.
