Premium Economy with Air India
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Air India announced the launch of its Premium Economy Class. The newly introduced feature will aim to provide travellers with better amenities during their travels with Air India. In a post, the Tata-owned airline wrote, “Fly comfortably, stand out effortlessly! Discover the new Premium Economy cabin class featuring comfortable seats, 2200+ hours of inflight entertainment, elevated dining experiences and more, with Air India. Now available on select International and Domestic flights.”
According to Air India’s website, Premium Economy will provide flyers with “exclusive luxurious amenities and privilege perks” like more meal options, including desserts and an extensive drink selection, more legroom, premium comfortable seats, hot towels, welcome drinks, premium meals, noise-cancelling headphones, more menu choices, and premium TUMI amenities.
Premium Economy is currently only available on the Bengaluru-San Francisco, Mumbai-San Francisco, and Mumbai-New York routes, though the airline is working on adding it more routes in the next few months.
