The soon-to-be-launched Air Kerala, said to be India's 'first ultra-low-cost carrier', has announced the appointment of Harish Moideen Kutty as its CEO. Zett Fly Aviation, the organisation behind the new airline, has announced the new CEO.

Harish Moideen Kutty joins the team at Air Kerala and has over 35 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has previously worked with big names like British Airways, SpiceJet, and SalamAir. As the CEO, Kutty will spearhead Air Kerala's launch and growth, aiming to establish the airline as a key player in the industry.
Kutty stated that the airline will be a source of pride for the global Malayalee community: "This airline represents the hopes, culture, and spirit of our people."
Afi Ahmed, chairman of Zett Fly Aviation, also welcomed Harish, saying, "We are confident that under his guidance, Air Kerala will become a beacon of pride for Malayalees worldwide."
Air Kerala plans to start domestic services in the country in 2025 and expand its international flights in 2026. The airline was started by Afi Ahmed, chairman, and Ayub Kallada, vice chairman, of Zett Fly Aviation Private Limited. Air Kerala, which recently secured a No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, is working towards setting itself up in the Indian market.
