Indian regional airline, flybig, has announced its new fares for the Ghaziabad-Bathinda route. As per the new fares, passengers can now fly the route at rates starting at ₹499.

Travellers can now book tickets for the route at rates starting at ₹499 + tax. The offer is available for booking till October 26, 2024. The route flies four times a week, which was recently increased from two times a week, to provide passengers with more affordable options. The airline states that the increased routes and affordable rates have been implemented to match and support the Prime Minister's vision for "inclusive growth and regional development". Talking of the announcement, Sanjay Mandavia, CMD of flybig, stated, "Our goal is to ensure that regional air travel is available to everyone, regardless of their economic status." The importance of affordable air travel and how it can lead to economic growth and development was also stressed upon by him.
The DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft is employed by the airline for the route between Ghaziabad and Bathinda. The airline expects that with cheap rates and easy access, the number of passengers will see an increase in the next few years. flybig aims to provide connectivity and affordability to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across India.
