Armenia Airways Joins the Indian Market
To expand its operation in India, Armenia Airways, founded in 2013, has appointed Bird Travels as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in the country. As the GSA of the Armenian airline, Bird Travels, an aviation management and advisory organisation, “will now oversee the promotional and marketing activities to boost the sale of Armenia Airways”. The deal will uplift the aviation company’s name in the Indian market.
Direct Flights
The airline is also gearing up to offer flights that directly connect India’s Delhi and Armenia’s Yerevan. The direct flights will commence from July 15, 2024, and will operate around three days a week. The flight, in weekdays, will depart from Delhi at 05:10 and arrive in Yerevan at 10:40, and the return flight will depart at 19:40 and arrive at 03:55 the next day. However, the flight schedule for Sunday states that the flight will leave from Delhi at 05:10 and arrive at 11:20, and the return is scheduled to depart at 20:20 and arrive at 03:55.
