AI's Premium Economy
Air India had first announced the launch of the new Premium Economy Class in July 2024. The newly introduced cabin class aimed to provide travellers with better amenities during their travels with Air India. According to the airline, the new cabin class will provide flyers with "exclusive, luxurious amenities and privilege perks" like more meal options, including desserts and an extensive drink selection, more legroom, premium comfortable seats, hot towels, welcome drinks, premium meals, noise-cancelling headphones, more menu choices, and premium TUMI amenities. Earlier, Premium Economy was only available on the Bengaluru-San Francisco, Mumbai-San Francisco, and Mumbai-New York routes.
