Olive by Embassy Launches AI-Driven Open Hotels Brand
Olive by Embassy, the tech-focused hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has introduced Open Hotels—an AI-powered, fully remote-operated hotel brand. The brand aims to enhance efficiency and profitability for budget and mid-scale hotels.
Open Hotels operates under two models:
-
Franchise: Hotel owners run their own staff while using Open’s technology.
-
Full Management: Open handles all operations remotely through its AI command centre.
Both options are designed to be simple to set up and require no upfront capital investment.
Open Hotels replaces traditional front desks with live video reception managed from a central location. While some staff remain on-site, the staff-to-room ratio drops by 57%, allowing leaner operations without compromising service.
A key feature is Voice AI, which monitors guest interactions (in line with privacy laws). If dissatisfaction is detected, the remote team is notified to step in immediately. Other tools include video analytics and predictive maintenance, providing hotel operators with better control and fewer personnel.
Open Hotels has already signed 12 properties across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Vijayawada, and Chikmagalur. A patent has been filed in the U.S. for its remote hotel management system.
Looking ahead, Olive plans to expand Open Hotels across India and internationally, aiming to offer remote hospitality services globally, eliminating the need for travel or relocation.

“We were the first to run hotel receptions through video conferencing. Once we layered in Voice AI and analytics, guest satisfaction and profit margins surged,” said Kahraman Yigit, CEO & Co-founder, Olive by Embassy.
“The tech was too powerful to keep to ourselves so we’re now offering it under Open Hotels. We have already signed 12 hotels and live across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Vijayawada and Chikmagalur.”
“No planes. No visas. Just real-time hospitality from Bangalore to the world,” said Yigit.
