Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and Hilton Dubai The Walk have announced the appointment of Melville Gracias as Cluster Director of Sales.


Melville brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience in the hospitality sector. A seasoned commercial leader, Melville has held key sales and marketing roles across renowned hotel brands in the UAE and other countries. His portfolio includes successful pre-openings, profitable strategies, and transformative brand partnerships for several luxury boutique properties.

Before joining Hilton, Melville spearheaded dynamic commercial teams at Two Seasons Hotel & Apartments and Vintage Grand Hotel. His work resulted in significant growth in RevPAR, ADR and corporate business. His strategic vision, data-driven mindset and people-first leadership style have earned him a reputation as a trusted mentor and innovative sales strategist.
Melville supports digital transformation and a guest-focused approach, which are in line with Hilton’s operational priorities. His appointment comes as Hilton continues its efforts to refine guest experiences across its properties in Dubai, with a focus on aligning commercial strategies and long-term planning.
His experience in cross-functional collaboration and understanding of market dynamics are expected to contribute to the commercial performance of Hilton’s beachfront properties in Dubai.
Melville holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mumbai University, India, a Diploma in Travel & Tourism, and has completed leadership development programmes such as The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and a Management Awareness Program.
