BOC Aviation Appoints Yogesh Farswani as Head of OEM Strategy and Procurement

BOC Aviation has announced the appointment of Yogesh Farswani as Head of OEM Strategy and Procurement, effective July 1, 2025. In this expanded role, Farswani will lead the procurement department and assume responsibilities for both aircraft and engine procurement, as well as managing relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). He will continue to report to Chief Operating Officer Thomas Chandler.
This leadership transition follows the retirement of Alistair Greig, who will step down on June 30, 2025, after serving the company for 22 years. Greig made significant contributions to the development of BOC Aviation’s fleet, which now comprises over 800 aircraft owned, managed, or on order.
CEO and Managing Director Steven Townend thanked Greig for his contributions and said:

“We appreciate Alistair’s commitment to fleet growth over the past two decades. Yogesh brings nearly three decades of industry experience and will continue to strengthen our OEM partnerships and support our fleet expansion plans.”
Farswani joined BOC Aviation in May 2024 as Head of Engines, a newly established function. Prior to that, he held various roles at Pratt & Whitney, including finance, risk, government affairs, sales, and management, across China, Singapore, and the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Bryant University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
As of March 31, 2025, BOC Aviation had a fleet of 829 aircraft and engines, leased to 93 airlines across 48 countries and regions.
