APPOINTMENT
W Dubai – The Palm has announced the appointment of Damon Wright as the new Director of Beverage & Food.
This appointment comes at a time when W Dubai plans to strengthen its leadership team across marketing, revenue, and food & beverage to drive its continued growth and brand positioning in Dubai’s competitive luxury hospitality market.
With over ten years of hospitality experience across the Middle East and Asia, Scotland-born Damon Wright currently oversees the dining and lounge portfolio at W Dubai – The Palm. He is also responsible for managing the hotel’s portfolio of restaurants, bars, and lounges, ensuring operational efficiency, brand alignment, and guest experience across all venues.
He previously managed F&B operations at W Yas Island Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for revenue growth, the development of new dining concepts, and the execution of major events, including the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
His experience includes concept development and pre-opening roles at Expo 2020’s French Pavilion, Brooklyn Chop House, and Pappas Taverna. Damon Wright applies a collaborative management style and a focus on innovation in his current role.
