What is IndiGo’s plan to become a green airline?

India is experiencing an aviation boom as the country strives to fly into the future. There is an airport construction frenzy in the country to achieve the target of 200 airports within the next five years. Major commercial airlines are ordering planes by the hundreds as India’s appetite for longer, faster and more frequent travel grows. But for Indian aviation to be truly transformative, it needs to back up its huge ambitions with global reach, competitiveness and world-class brands. Likewise, in an era of rapid technological change, geopolitical uncertainty and growing anti-aircraft sentiment in the Western market, Indian aviation must find ways to be better and bigger.
