On June 13, 2024, Madhya Pradesh launched air taxi services connecting cities within the state to boost tourism. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched the intra-state air service. The air service is called PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva and the first flight was flagged off from the capital Bhopal to Jabalpur. The air service will be operated by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) with two aircraft to begin with. The air taxi service will connect eight cities across the state. These are Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Ujjain, Rewa, and Singrauli.
