For travelers with special needs, IndiGo has launched a specialized service at Terminal 1 at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi to foster an inclusive, convenient, and comfortable travel environment.

The airline is devoted to fostering diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I) in the workplace and throughout its operations, and as such, it has created a specially built check-in station for travelers with specific requirements. Over twenty specially-abled IndiGo workers are now stationed at the Delhi Airport, and they will also be available for assistance at these desks. This program is consistent with IndiGo's dedication to advancing inclusivity and diversity both within and outside of the workplace.

Giving them a chance to demonstrate their talents, will help empower IndiGo's coworkers with disabilities. This program demonstrates IndiGo's steadfast dedication in giving every passenger an inexpensive, punctual, polite, and hassle-free travel experience. The airline has also made extra measures to guarantee that all its resources—including information, technology, facilities, and privileges—are accessible to people with disabilities.

To make the globe more inclusive and accessible for all, IndiGo has implemented several initiatives on board its aircraft. The restrooms on aircraft are outfitted with extra grab bars to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the airline provides pre-board accommodations and consideration for clients with sensory impairments, mobility assistance, spinal support equipment, and adverse medical conditions.
