With its waters remaining steady throughout the year, Kol Dam offers a unique opportunity for continuous tourism, which has not gone unnoticed. 

According to reports, there is a grand vision for Bhohat Kasol. A detailed action plan has been developed to transform the village into a comprehensive tourist destination. "Our goal is to turn Bhohat Kasol into a lively rural tourist spot," explained Sadiq.

He added that this initiative will allow visitors to participate in over 20 adventure activities and experience authentic rural life. Urban tourists will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the tranquil lifestyle of the region, offering a stark contrast to their busy city lives. The potential of Bhohat Kasol is evident. 

Recent trends show a growing interest in lesser-known destinations in Himachal Pradesh, with Solan recently surpassing Shimla as a popular tourist hotspot. This shift suggests an increasing appreciation for the state's hidden gems. The year 2024 has seen a significant surge in tourism, with over 74 lakh visitors arriving between January and May, a 3.5% increase from the previous year. Notably, the number of foreign tourists has also risen substantially, from 23,174 in 2023 to 32,415 in 2024, highlighting the region's growing allure on the global stage. 

As the action plan for Bhohat Kasol unfolds, the area is poised to become a shining example of rural tourism.
