Taj Bangalore has announced the appointment of Chef R. Deva Kumar as its new Executive Chef, marking a significant milestone in the hotel’s culinary journey.

With over two decades of experience at renowned hotels, Chef Deva Kumar brings global inspiration in his cuisines, deep expertise in regional Indian foods, and a knack for contemporary European cuisine.
Chef Deva Kumar is known for elevating dining experiences across luxury hotels and shaping distinctive culinary identities. He has repositioned many restaurants, introduced carefully curated menus, and led innovative culinary gastronomic concepts.
Chef Deva Kumar is an alumnus of Madras Institute of Hotel Management and City & Guilds London. His journey has been marked by industry awards such as the Times Food Awards.
In his new role, Chef Deva will oversee all culinary operations across Taj Bangalore’s restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining, with a mission to elevate the guest experience through consistent innovation.
