Additionally, there will be daily flights to Cochin. According to the official, the airport authorities also plan to begin new flights to Bengaluru on January 4.

Air India has delivered two A320 aircraft to its sister operator, Air India Express. Air India Express operates a fleet of 91 aircraft, including twenty-five A320-200s, five A320-200Ns, thirty-five B737-8s, and twenty-six B737-800s.
Air India has ordered 190 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Boeing will build 140 aircraft for Air India, including 50 that were previously ordered by other operators but then cancelled.
