Sarovar Hotels & Resorts is a prominent chain of hotels and resorts based in India, known for delivering accommodation and hospitality experiences. With an expansive portfolio of 120 properties strategically located across 75 destinations, Sarovar Hotels caters to domestic and international travellers, significantly transforming the hospitality landscape in its regions. The Sarovar experience is characterized by a blend of warm, personalised hospitality and modern conveniences, ensuring that guests enjoy not just a stay, but a memorable experience.

The chain is owned by the Groupe du Louvre, a significant player in the hospitality sector that was acquired by Jinjiang International in 2015, underpinning its strong international presence. Jinjiang International is itself owned by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, highlighting a global network of ownership that enhances the Sarovar brand’s reach.

Founded in 1994 by Anil Madhok, who had a rich background managing the luxury hotel brand Oberoi Hotels, Sarovar was established with a specific vision: to fill the gap in India’s mid-market hotel sector. This mission has propelled Sarovar into a reputable position in the market, catering to the diverse needs of its clientele while emphasising quality, affordability, and comfort in its offerings.
