Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas has announced the appointment of Martin Peter Otto Riehl as the new executive chef.
With over four decades of international culinary experience and an extensive background in luxury hospitality, Martin Riehl brings a global perspective, visionary leadership and an exceptional culinary experience to the hotel’s renowned dining destinations.
Martin Riehl is a certified Master Chef specialising in German and French cuisine. He recently served as the Director of Culinary Operations at the Grand Hyatt Macau, part of the City of Dreams complex.
Previously, he served as the executive chef at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, where he refined his leadership and culinary skills in a high-volume setting.
Martin has also served as executive chef at Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, consistently elevating culinary experiences through refined techniques, a thorough understanding of international cuisines, and a strong commitment to excellence.
In his new role, he will oversee all culinary operations at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, including the Gault&Millau-rated Maté Abu Dhabi, Beach House, and The Café restaurant. He will lead a diverse team dedicated to elevating the hotel’s gastronomic offerings through thoughtfully curated menus and exceptional dining experiences.
