APPOINTMENT
Novotel Guwahati has announced the appointment of Mintu Kr Deka as its new Assistant Manager- Information & Technology.
Mintu brings over a decade of experience in information technology, having held various roles in system administration, network management, and technical support. His background includes work in hospitality IT environments, with a focus on maintaining stable and secure systems, streamlining operations, and supporting user needs across departments.
Mintu previously worked at The Leela Gandhinagar as an IT Executive. His portfolio holds a proven track record in managing hotel IT systems and ensuring data security. His background includes work in hospitality IT environments, with a focus on maintaining stable and secure systems, streamlining operations, and supporting user needs across departments.
In his new role, Mintu will support the IT department in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including the management of hotel systems, hardware, software, and connectivity. He will play a key role in coordinating with vendors, supporting internal teams, and ensuring data privacy protocols are consistently maintained.
He will also contribute to the implementation of technology upgrades, staff IT training, and assist in aligning IT practices with Accor’s operational policies and global standards. His focus will include minimizing system downtime, strengthening cybersecurity practices, and optimizing guest-facing technology platforms.
