Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Opens

Minor Hotels has signed an agreement with Sichuan Dexinhousheng Enterprise Management Co., Ltd to establish the Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Resort. Set to open in October 2025, this will be Anantara’s inaugural property in Sichuan province, offering a variety of nature-focused experiences in the centre of Western Sichuan’s Golden Tourist Route.

Located in Dayi County, an hour’s drive from Chengdu City, the 111-key resort will leverage the unique national and cultural assets of the National 5A Tourist Attraction-designated area, the highest distinction awarded by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Surrounded by pristine nature, guests can enjoy world-class skiing at Xiling Snow Mountain and the therapeutic benefits of the ancient Huashuiwan Hot Springs. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is only twenty minutes from the resort, a popular destination for local and international travellers.

Cheng Chung Design (CCD), a leading global hospitality design firm, is responsible for the interiors of Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Resort. The resort’s interiors showcase the area’s panorama and invite the outdoors inside. The guest rooms and suites, ranging between 100 and 500 square meters, will feature piped hot spring water. In addition, the resort boasts leisure amenities, including a swimming pool, an Anantara Spa, a wellness centre, and an entertainment centre.

After a day on the slopes or at the hot springs, holidaymakers can enjoy a variety of dining options, including a Chinese restaurant with eight private rooms, an all-day dining spot, and a speciality restaurant. Meanwhile, event delegates will have 800 square meters of elegant banquet and meeting space available.

Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Resort is the third resort to launch in China under the Anantara Hotels & Resorts brand after Anantara Guiyang Resort in 2017 and Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort in 2013.
