Marriott’s Luxury Group Introduces 2025 Wellbeing Series Across Asia-Pacific
As wellness-focused luxury travel gains traction in Asia-Pacific for 2025, the Luxury Group by Marriott International has introduced the Luxury Wellbeing Series 2025, launching in August. According to the Group’s latest report, The Intentional Traveller, 90% of high-net-worth travellers consider wellness offerings a key factor in travel decisions. More than half plan wellness trips with family or partners, favouring immersive, holistic experiences over conventional pampering.
The series will span destinations such as Bali, Maldives, and Goa, emphasizing three wellness pillars: Sleep, Nutrition, and Physical & Mental Well-being, all interwoven with local culture and natural surroundings.
Bali | Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Mandapa offers programs that connect guests to Balinese traditions and nature. Activities include:

-
Physical & Mental Well-being: Vipassana meditation and Mandala Art sessions for mindfulness and self-expression.

Rooted in the resort’s Deep Blue philosophy, the program focuses on water-based healing:
-
Sleep: Balance of Stillness workshop and curated sleep ritual kits.
-
Nutrition: Cooking classes with local ingredients and personalized nutrition consultations.
-
Physical & Mental Well-being: Sunrise Floating Sound Healing, strength training with breathwork, and coral regeneration experiences.
India | The St. Regis Goa Resort
Inspired by Ayurvedic principles, the Goa program includes:
-
Sleep: Sleep Ritual combining Yoga Nidra and herbal tisanes.
-
Nutrition: Dosha-specific farm-to-table lunches and visits to the resort’s Spice Garden.
-
Physical & Mental Well-being: Sound Bath Sessions, Estuary Walk & Yoga, and tailored Ayurvedic treatments at The St. Regis Spa.
Oriol Montal, Regional Vice President, Luxury, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International, said the initiative responds to the evolving expectations of travellers seeking personalized wellness journeys.
The series reflects Marriott’s approach to integrating cultural authenticity with health-focused experiences, reinforcing its position in the luxury travel market.
