Korea Transport Institute Visits AirAsia Headquarters to Discuss Aviation Service Cooperation
The Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) recently conducted an official visit to AirAsia’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The visit aimed to discuss ways to improve aviation services in Korea and explore potential areas for policy collaboration.
KOTI, a state-run research institute responsible for transportation policy and service research in Korea, focuses on enhancing aviation policies and services, as well as evaluating air traffic operations of domestic and foreign airlines serving Korea. This marks KOTI’s first official visit to the headquarters of a foreign airline, made possible by an invitation from AirAsia, which places importance on customer service and gathering feedback from Korean passengers.
During the meeting, AirAsia shared updates on its customer service operations in Korea and exchanged views with KOTI on improving passenger experience through continued cooperation and information sharing.
Kim Myung-hyun, head of the Air Mobility Research Team at KOTI, remarked, “This meeting provided an opportunity to observe the progress AirAsia has made in its customer service operations. We hope this cooperation will help improve aviation services for Korean passengers.”
Yang Hee-chan, head of AirAsia’s Korea branch, added, “We are committed to enhancing customer satisfaction in Korea through continued discussions and collaboration.”
