Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, has appointed legendary sprinter Usain Bolt as Jamaica’s Global Tourism Ambassador. In this role, the world’s fastest man will showcase Jamaica’s culture and tourism on the international stage.

The appointment highlights Bolt’s role in enhancing Jamaica’s global image and his ongoing dedication to championing the island nation internationally. As Global Tourism Ambassador, Bolt will advocate for Jamaica’s tourism and present the country’s cultural heritage to audiences around the world via a comprehensive digital campaign and public appearances.
