This Tourism Dept is Inviting T20 World Cup Winners To Their State

“India! India!” comes the harmonious cheer from all around the country as well as the world as the Indian cricket team bags the trophy for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. To further the celebration, the Ministry of Tourism for Jammu and Kashmir has extended an invite to the team, congratulating them on the win.

On a post on X (formerly Twitter), Jammu & Kashmir Tourism said, “Congratulations to Team India on winning the T20 World Cup 2024!! We welcome our champions to visit Jammu and Kashmir to continue the celebrations! It would be an honour to host you in the Crown of Incredible India.”

India beat the South African cricket team at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 finale on June 29, 2024 by seven runs, ending the 11-year wait for the trophy. To celebrate the same, Jay Shah, secretary, BCCI, tweeted, “I am pleased to announce prize money of INR 125 Crores for Team India for winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The team has showcased exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and support staff for this outstanding achievement!”
