IndiGo Expands Reach with Direct Flights from Hindon

IndiGo's Big Plans for FY26

IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flights from Hindon, Uttar Pradesh. Starting on July 20, 2025, the airline will operate direct flights from Hindon to eight cities across India: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, and Varanasi.

Hindon will be IndiGo’s 93rd domestic station and 136th overall, making it the airline’s second airport in the National Capital Region (NCR). Currently, IndiGo operates over 1,500 weekly departures from Delhi, connecting to more than 85 destinations within its network.

The introduction of these flights offers greater convenience and additional travel options for residents of Ghaziabad, East Delhi, and other areas in Western Uttar Pradesh, enhancing regional connectivity. These new direct routes will ensure easy access to major commercial and cultural centres across India, promoting trade, tourism, and regional development.

Hindon, located in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, is a rapidly developing urban and industrial hub within the National Capital Region. Known for its strategic location and proximity to major economic zones like Noida and East Delhi, Hindon plays a crucial role in commerce and connectivity.

The area features a mix of industrial estates, educational institutions, and growing residential neighbourhoods, reflecting its significant contribution to Uttar Pradesh’s economic landscape. Additionally, the presence of the Hindon Air Force Station is of strategic importance. Improved air connectivity will further boost the region’s growth, providing residents and businesses with enhanced access to India’s diverse cultural and economic centres.

British Airways Adds Three New Short-Haul Routes for Winter 2025 British Airways is expanding its short-haul network with new services to Rabat, Graz, and Madrid for the Winter 2025 season. New Routes from London Gatwick (BA Euroflyer) BA Euroflyer will launch year-round flights to Rabat, Morocco, and Graz, Austria: Rabat: Starting 5 November 2025, flights will operate twice weekly (Wednesdays and Sundays) using an Airbus A320. Fares start from £70 each way. Rabat becomes BA’s third Moroccan destination alongside Marrakech and Agadir.
