Hyatt Regency Chennai has announced the appointment of Chef Rizwaan Qureshi as MasterChef – Indian Cuisine, bringing with him over two decades of extensive culinary experience spanning India and abroad within the luxury hospitality sector.
With more than 22 years of global culinary expertise across India, UAE, Oman, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and the United Kingdom, Chef Rizwaan Qureshi has led a team of 30+ chefs, created menus, and orchestrated successful restaurant openings. He is best known for his tenure at Moghul Express, Leicester, where under his leadership, the restaurant achieved a 5-star TripAdvisor rating, ranked #1 among Indian restaurants, and featured in the Top 10 overall in the region.
Chef Rizwaan Qureshi’s signature dishes include Barra Kebab and Mutton Dum Biryani. In his role as MasterChef, Chef Rizwaan will oversee the Indian kitchen operations, curate elevated regional menus, and train the culinary team in traditional techniques with contemporary execution.
