APPOINTMENT
Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has announced the appointment of Jessica Myers as Vice President of Finance & Accounting. In her new role, Jessica Myers will oversee the corporate finance team, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting through financial processes. She brings a combination of corporate, above-property, and property-level finance experience, along with a background in strategic financial leadership.
Prior to joining HVMG, Jessica served as Vice President of Finance for Pyramid Global Hospitality. In that position, she led finance operations for all branded properties within the company’s western region. In 2022, she played an integral role in revamping Pyramid’s accounting framework, introducing new systems and staffing models to enhance efficiency and accuracy. She also collaborated closely with property and operations teams to support the transition and maintain financial stability throughout the change.
Earlier in her career, Myers held multi-property finance leadership roles in key markets including Houston and the Chicagoland area. Her experience spans reputable hospitality companies such as Pearl Hospitality, White Lodging, and Hyatt Corporation.
Myers began her hospitality career in 1996 as a PBX operator at the Hyatt Lodge on the McDonald’s Corporate Campus. Her professional development reflects a steady rise through various finance and operational roles, gaining insight into all levels of hotel management.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a certificate in Hotel Real Estate and Asset Management from Cornell University.
