“Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country’s signing marks a monumental milestone for Hilton and is integral to both our growth in the state, which represents Hilton’s largest hotel portfolio in the U.S., and Hilton luxury brands portfolio expansion across the Americas,” said Amy King, Vice President, Luxury & Mixed-Use Development, Hilton.
“Conrad Hilton’s legacy in the hotel business began in Texas more than 105 years ago, and working alongside incredible owners, we’re proud to deliver on Conrad’s vision as we introduce our distinguished luxury hotel and residential portfolio in the destination.”
Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country is less than a mile from downtown Fredericksburg, providing an ideal hub for those eager to experience the charm of Texas Hill Country. This area is renowned as the state's top wine-tasting destination and the second most visited wine country nationwide, boasting over 100 wineries. Surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills adorned with wildflowers and farms, Fredericksburg presents a backdrop and a perfect getaway 75 miles west of Austin and 65 miles northwest of San Antonio.
Created through a collaboration of Studio CABAN, FAB Studio, TIPLER Group, Studio Outside, and Paul Duesing Partners, the resort aims to be an elegant retreat for all guests, framed by countryside views. The accommodations will showcase genuine Texan design features, offering views of the surrounding Hill Country alongside multi-room resort villas designed for individual residents and available for guest rentals. These villas will include private plunge pools, outdoor courtyards, and unique programming.
For a luxury experience in Hill Country, the resort will feature 87 Waldorf Astoria Residences. These residences reflect the resort's vision while honouring the land's natural beauty. Options include single-story estates, villas, and cottage-style homes with three to five bedrooms and customizable features. Fifty private residences are thoughtfully positioned along the edge of the 106-acre property, offering views of Baron’s Creek and the rolling hills and convenient access to historic Fredericksburg. Homeowners will benefit from a wealth of culinary and wellness amenities provided by the resort and the distinguished resident services that the Waldorf Astoria brand is known for. Significantly, this project marks the introduction of the first Waldorf Astoria Residences in Texas, delivering a luxury living experience in Fredericksburg. Limited reservations for the Founder’s Collection are currently available. Exclusive benefits for resident owners include Hilton Honors Diamond status for the duration of ownership, personalized privileges, discounted rates, travel assistance, and more.
