Tivoli Portopiccolo's Exciting New Collaborations: Purobeach and Terme Di Saturnia

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa in northern Italy, bringing the brand’s glamour to the Gulf of Trieste. After undergoing renovations, Tivoli Portopiccolo now offers its guests a unique location, exciting dining concepts, and two new partnerships: Purobeach Portopiccolo, a beach club offering the Mediterranean lifestyle, and Terme di Saturnia, a well-known Italian wellness brand that will operate the spa.

The resort is within a 20-minute drive of Trieste Airport and only one hour from the airports of Venice, Treviso, and Ljubljana

Situated in the Duino Cliffs Nature Reserve, the property is part of the mixed-use development of Portopiccolo. It features a private beach overlooking turquoise waters, several restaurants and bars, shops, and a luxury marina. Guests can explore the nearby city of Trieste and visit attractions such as the Castle of Duino and Miramare Castle. Additionally, the resort is easily accessible from airports in Trieste, Venice, Treviso, and Ljubljana.

The property offers 58 guest rooms, 20 suites with marina and sea views, and 30 branded apartments. Leisure facilities include six swimming pools, including one exclusively for adults, the Purobeach Portopiccolo area, and the Green Beach, providing a family-friendly environment in which to enjoy the sea views and sunset.

Purobeach Portopiccolo, now open for the first season, brings a fresh Mediterranean lifestyle to the resort. The club offers various lounge areas, infinity pools, a pebble beach, and a gastronomic experience featuring an ethnic-inspired menu and local flavours.

Ocyan restaurant, located in the main hotel building, offers gourmet Mediterranean cuisine with a terrace overlooking the marina. The Azur Lounge Bar serves snacks and light lunches, and its terrace provides panoramic views over the marina and the sea.

Later in the year, Terme di Saturnia will operate a 3,600 sqm spa area with various facilities, including treatment rooms, a large indoor/outdoor pool with sea views, saunas, and steam rooms. The resort also features a wellness and fitness centre with a sauna, steam room, and gymnasium.
