Radisson's Strong Growth in Saudi
Radisson Hotel Group has reiterated its dedication to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East as it gears up for the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) this May in Riyadh. Aiming to influence the future of hospitality in the region, the Group persists in its expansion, closely aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Radisson Hotel Group operates nearly 100 hotels in the Middle East, with more in development. The Group aims to have 150 hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments in the region by 2030, further solidifying its status as a top hospitality provider.
Radisson Hotel Group has 47 properties operating and in development in Saudi Arabia. This accounts for almost half of the Group’s presence in the Middle East, highlighting the Kingdom’s critical role in its growth strategy.
Recent developments in the Kingdom encompass the inauguration of Radisson Hotel Group’s first establishment in Madinah: Radisson Hotel Madinah, which enhances its presence in the holy cities. Additionally, the 310-key Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre opening in Riyadh Minhal further cements the Group’s foothold in the capital. Upcoming launches include Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh Al Sahafa, and Radisson Hotel Jeddah Tahlia Street, both set for Q2, followed by Radisson Collection Residence, Riyadh, and Radisson Hotel & Residences, Makkah Thakher City, expected to open in Q4. These openings align with the Group’s strategy to cater to religious and leisure tourism markets.
The Group has strengthened its local partnerships by entering into an agreement with Knowledge Economic City (KEC) for the signing of Park Inn by Radisson in Madinah’s Islamic World District and a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) with the Saudi Tourism Authority during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM). This further solidifies its collaborative position in enhancing the Kingdom’s tourism ecosystem.
