Minor Hotels is set to debut in Paraguay by developing a new NH Collection hotel in Asunción. This initiative will contribute to a large mixed-use real estate project, positioning itself as a new architectural landmark and a standard for the city.
The project is situated on Avenida Santa Teresa, just 400 meters from where it intersects with Avenida Aviadores del Chaco, a key and lively thoroughfare in the Paraguayan capital. Nestled within a complex of over 70 stories, this building will stand as the tallest in Asunción and rank fourth in South America. The development will feature residences, offices, retail spaces, and parking, establishing a world-class urban ecosystem that enhances the city and enriches the lives of its residents.
Set to open in 2029, this new property will feature 80 guest rooms and operate under the NH Collection brand, positioned in the upper-upscale category to provide a premium hospitality experience characterized by world-class design and service. Catering to both business and leisure travelers, the hotel will boast top-tier amenities such as a spa, pool, restaurant and bar, terrace, heliport, and meeting rooms, solidifying its status as a benchmark destination in the area.
This hotel is being developed in collaboration with Grupo Petra, a prominent real estate company in Paraguay known for its quality in construction and its innovative high-end projects. The estimated investment for the hotel ranges from eight to twelve million dollars, with expectations to create 35 to 40 direct jobs, thereby contributing to the city's economic and tourism growth.
