Lemon Tree Hotels Signs a New Aurika Property in Gujarat

Aurika by Lemon Tree Hotels Now in Surat

Aurika, Surat, Gujarat, under its luxury brand, Aurika Hotels & Resorts, is the newest addition to Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd.'s roster. The facility will be run by Carnation Hotels Pvt. Ltd., a Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd. subsidiary and management arm, and is scheduled to open in FY 2030.

The 175 rooms and suites at Aurika, Surat, will include an all-day dining restaurant called Mirasa, a ballroom called Ekaara, a boardroom called Aurum, a spa, and a swimming pool.

Known as the "Diamond City of India" and the "Silk City," Surat is a major manufacturer of silk and synthetic fabrics and is a global leader in the cutting and polishing diamonds. Beyond its reputation as an industrial hub, Surat is deeply ingrained in history, with sites like the Dutch Garden and Surat Castle as reminders of the city's colourful past. Surat is a monument to Gujarat's rich cultural and economic legacy. The Tapi River's meandering course enhances the town's scenic attractiveness through it. With its delicious street food and traditional Gujarati specialities showcasing the region's culinary diversity, it is also a food lover's paradise.
