New Gateway Resort in Pench by IHCL
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new resort in Pench, Madhya Pradesh. This greenfield project will be branded as a Gateway resort.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate and Development at IHCL, stated, “As one of the country’s key national parks, Pench is experiencing increasing demand for quality hospitality services. This signing aligns with our strategy of expanding in high-potential tourism corridors. We are delighted to partner with Mr. Abhijit Mujumdar for this project.”
The 105-key Gateway Pench resort is located near the Maharashtra border and authentically reflects its surroundings, embodying the spirit of Pench while offering immersive guest experiences. Spread across more than 10 acres, the resort will feature a variety of culinary options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, a pool bar, and meeting venues. Guests can also unwind at the spa, rejuvenate at the fitness center, or relax by the swimming pool.

Located in the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh, Pench is renowned as the ‘Mowgli Pench Sanctuary,’ inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.”
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will operate a total of 15 hotels in Madhya Pradesh, including 6 that are currently under development.
