Unveiling Anantara Ubud Bali Resort: The Wait is Almost Over

Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, a tropical getaway next to the hillside village of Banjar Puhu in northern Ubud, will open on 1 October 2024 as the second Anantara property on the Indonesian island.

The resort has 85 suites, pool villas, and 15 branded residences, all nestled on a densely forested hill overlooking a mountain stream. Despite its proximity to the lively cultural scene in Ubud, the tranquil resort feels remote and secluded. The 53-square-meter suites provide guests with a jungle experience, surrounded by the sounds of the stream and tree branches. Additionally, the one- and two-bedroom villas with infinity pools offer retreats perched among the treetops.

The resort offers various dining options. Enjoy local dishes prepared in a wood-fired oven at AMERTA, nutritious breakfast at KIRANA, smart cocktails with misty valley views at SULANG, and afternoon tea and all-day coffee with a stunning Mount Agung panorama at The Lobby Lounge. Moreover, you can opt for the signature Designer Dining experience for special occasions, which offers a private picnic lunch by a waterfall or a formal dinner in a private pavilion.

The resort offers various leisure facilities, including two heated swimming pools (one for adults and one for families), a yoga deck surrounded by jungle, and a spacious gym. There's also a Kids’ Club for young travellers. The Anantara Spa provides treatments, healing therapies, and multi-day wellness experiences in a natural setting with forests and flowing streams. Additionally, the resort has two meeting rooms for productive, distraction-free stays.

When not exploring the eateries, fashion boutiques, and art galleries of central Ubud, guests can participate in on-site arts and crafts workshops, hands-on cooking classes, and guided yoga and meditation. For a natural experience, the stunning beauty of the island's uplands, including emerald rice fields, Hindu temples, and shrines, is right on the doorstep.

The resort is a 2.5-hour drive from Denpasar International Airport. To celebrate the opening, Anantara Ubud Bali has introduced a special stay package, Ubud Indulgence Awaits, valid until March 31, 2025.
