The ibis brand family, which includes the three hotel brands ibis, ibis Styles, and ibis budget , comprises more than 2,500 locations worldwide and over 340 additional projects in the pipeline. The brand recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with the launch of the new "GO GET IT" brand promise, which stands for outstanding value, characterized by creative design, modern comfort, and warm service.
The ibis Styles Wörgl will be located in the newly developed Wörgl Mitte center and will offer 104 rooms and a breakfast restaurant, with unique design storytelling a core element of the ibis Styles guest experience. Scheduled to open in 2028, the hotel will be the first ibis Styles address in the Austrian Alps, complementing Accor and tristar's growing pipeline in Austria. With three ski resorts, a variety of outdoor activities amidst the Austrian Alps, and proximity to sought-after cities such as Kitzbühel and Innsbruck, Wörgl is ideally positioned as a leisure destination. Furthermore, the town boasts excellent rail and motorway connections to the country's major cities as well as to neighboring Germany and Italy. The owner and project developer is the Thurner Immobilien Group, a family-run company from Wörgl that, with currently 70 employees, covers all areas of the real estate industry as a full-service provider.
The sister hotels ibis and ibis budget Berlin Airport will open on April 30, 2025, just minutes from Terminal 1 of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). Each will offer guests 114 rooms, featuring the latest design concepts from both brands and the comfortable Sweet Bed by ibis™. Perfectly tailored to the needs of airport guests, the twin hotels will feature a shared lobby, breakfast service with extra early service times, and a café. In addition, convenient Park & Fly options are available for air travelers thanks to the hotel's on-site parking and the S-Bahn connection.

"Our ibis brand family is well established with almost 200 properties in the DACH region. While we have focused on rejuvenating and modernizing our brands in recent years, we are now seeing the success of this strategy, as ibis is in demand among our owners, partners, and guests. This success is also due to the brand's great flexibility, which, thanks in part to its adaptable designs, makes it equally attractive for leisure and urban locations, as well as for new builds and conversion projects ," says Thiemo Willms, Vice President Development Premium, Midscale & Economy DACH at Accor.
