Hilton Mumbai International Airport has announced the elevation of four of its staff members to senior management roles. These strategic appointments have been made keeping in mind the hotel’s commitment to elevate guest experiences and drive operational functions across all departments.
Gaurav Bimal Sharma – Promoted to Rooms Division Manager
Previously appinted as Front Office Manager, Gaurav Bimal Sharma has been promoted to Rooms Division Manager. Since joining Hilton Mumbai in October 2022, Gaurav has significantly enhanced front office operations and improved guest satisfaction scores. In his new role, he will oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa Operations, and Bell Services, ensuring seamless, high-quality service across all guest-facing departments.
Altamsh Patel – Promoted to Director of Culinary
Formerly Executive Chef, Altamsh Patel will now step into the role of Director of Culinary. With over 13 years of experience in culinary leadership, Altamsh has elevated the hotel’s gastronomic offerings through innovative menu development and a commitment to quality. In this expanded role, he will lead the culinary division, spearheading new dining concepts and optimising cost-efficiency practices.
Giles Paul Pereira – Promoted to Director of Food & Beverage
Giles Paul Pereira has been promoted from Food & Beverage Manager to Director of Food & Beverage. A hospitality veteran with 19 years of experience, Giles has led successful optimisation of banquet, restaurant, and bar operations since joining in January 2024. He will now oversee strategic planning across all F&B outlets, aiming to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue growth.
Mohammed Zaheer Yunus Rar – Promoted to Purchase Manager
After serving as Assistant Purchase Manager since April 2024, Mohammed Zaheer Yunus Rar has been elevated to Purchase Manager. Known for his effective procurement strategies and supplier relations, Zaheer has contributed significantly to supply chain efficiency and cost savings. In his new capacity, he will lead the procurement team to ensure quality sourcing and value-driven purchasing.
