Hilton Marks 500 Hotels in Florida, Expands Lifestyle Brands Across the State
Hilton has reached a new milestone with more than 500 hotels now open across Florida, highlighting its continued growth across coastal and urban destinations. The expansion includes the planned debut of Tempo by Hilton in Florida, reflecting Hilton’s focus on growing its lifestyle hotel portfolio.
In 2024, Florida recorded 143 million visitors, many exploring both major cities and smaller coastal communities. Over the past decade, Hilton has nearly doubled its presence in the state, offering a range of brands to meet evolving travel preferences. These include lifestyle-focused properties from Curio Collection by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Canopy by Hilton, and the upcoming Tempo by Hilton.
“Florida has always been an important market for leisure travel, and reaching this milestone reflects Hilton’s growth here,” said John Koshivos, Vice President and Managing Director, Development, Southeast U.S., Hilton.
“Our range of brands allows us to serve travellers in many locations, from the Panhandle and Orlando to Miami and the Keys. Lifestyle brands continue to play a key role, as they appeal to guests looking for locally connected experiences.”
Lifestyle Growth Across Florida
Hilton is increasing its focus on lifestyle properties in Florida, which remains one of the world’s most visited destinations. Plans include the first Tempo by Hilton locations in Pensacola, St. Petersburg, and Fort Myers; new Canopy by Hilton properties in Miami’s Brickell area and Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas district; and an expanded Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolio in places like St. Augustine, Fernandina Beach, and Daytona Beach.
