Fairmont Opens 327‑Room Udaipur Palace, A Bold Milestone in India Expansion
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor and in partnership with Keystone Resorts, has officially opened Fairmont Udaipur Palace, its second property in India and the first in Udaipur. Located on an 18‑acre hillside in the Aravalli range, the resort features 327 guest rooms, over 130,000 sq ft of event space, multiple dining venues, and a signature wellness spa.
The property forms a key part of Accor’s broader push in India, which includes a series of openings—such as Fairmont Mumbai earlier in 2025, as the group deepens its luxury portfolio in one of its fastest-growing markets.
Fairmont Udaipur Palace blends local heritage with contemporary hospitality. Its design draws on Mewar architecture—featuring carved marble columns, domed ceilings, verandas, and finely inlaid flooring, and offers serene forest views, wellness facilities, and curated culinary experiences celebrating regional craftsmanship and global flavours.
This opening reinforces Fairmont and Accor’s position in India’s luxury hotel sector, with plans underway for further expansion across major cultural destinations in the region
