Emirates Opens New Travel Store in Seoul, Enhancing Customer Experience

Emirates has expanded its retail presence with the launch of its first Travel Store in Seoul, underlining its focus on customer experience and commitment to the Korean market.

The Emirates Travel Store officially opened on 9 July, with senior executives in attendance, including Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President for Passenger Sales and Country Management; Orhan Abbas, Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations in the Far East; and Jim Chang, Country Manager for South Korea. The ceremony also welcomed His Excellency Abdulla Saif Ali Al Nuaimi, the UAE Ambassador to South Korea, along with other guests and members of the media.

Nabil Sultan said, “As we mark 20 years in South Korea, this new store reflects our ongoing efforts to offer tailored and innovative travel solutions to Korean travellers. It brings our ‘Fly Better’ promise to life through a dedicated local experience.”

A Glimpse of Emirates First Class, Now in Seoul

Located in Jongno-gu, a key business and lifestyle area in Seoul, the 132-square-metre store showcases Emirates’ signature products and services. The interiors, inspired by the airline’s cabin design, feature soft beige tones, ambient lighting, and the UAE’s Ghaf Tree motif. Seating areas evoke the comfort of Emirates’ airport lounges.

A highlight of the space is the Emirates First Class Private Suite, on display, offering visitors a glimpse into the airline’s premium offerings. The store also provides expert travel consultation for bookings and trip planning, along with digital tools such as a self-service kiosk, an interactive selfie mirror, and digital displays providing updates on Emirates’ routes and services.

Two Decades of Connection

Since beginning services in 2005, Emirates has operated over 14,000 flights and carried more than 5 million passengers between Seoul and Dubai. The airline currently operates 10 weekly flights using its retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, featuring Premium Economy and an enhanced Business Class on flights EK324/325.

Emirates remains committed to enhancing its services and partnerships in Korea.
