Emirates has officially opened ‘Emirates First’, a newly upgraded First Class check-in area at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport (DXB). Tailored exclusively for First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members, the facility introduces a more private, seamless, and sophisticated ground experience, enhancing the premium journey from the moment travelers arrive at the airport.

Emirates, currently the world’s largest operator of international First Class travel, continues to invest in elevating both its inflight and on-ground offerings. The unveiling of Emirates First reflects the airline’s ongoing efforts to improve comfort, privacy, and efficiency for its high-tier passengers.

Designed for Privacy and Efficiency

The check-in experience at Emirates First has been reimagined with luxury and tranquility in mind. Passengers are greeted at a grand, gold-accented entryway just steps from the Terminal 3 drop-off area. A dedicated Emirates host confirms eligibility for entry into the space, which features an inviting, lounge-like atmosphere designed with neutral tones, warm lighting, and a blend of wood, marble, and plush furnishings.

The area echoes the design elements found in Emirates’ First Class Lounges, complete with Rolex world clocks, a floral centerpiece, and a backlit Ghaf tree, symbolizing the national tree of the UAE. Integrated greenery and soft lighting further contribute to a calm environment, and all advertising screens have been removed to maintain a peaceful setting.

Streamlined Process with Personalized Service

Passengers can check in while comfortably seated, using iPads handled by Emirates staff, or choose to use traditional check-in counters made of marble and brass. Families can relax in the lounge area while one member completes formalities for all travelers. Dedicated First Class baggage belts ensure faster luggage handling.

After check-in, guests proceed to immigration and security, followed by access to one of three Emirates First Class Lounges at DXB, where they can enjoy à la carte dining, fine wines and Champagne, complimentary spa treatments, business facilities, kids’ zones, and concierge-led duty-free shopping.

Part of a Broader First Class Investment Strategy

‘Emirates First’ is the latest in a series of enhancements introduced by the airline for First Class customers. In May 2025, Emirates unveiled additional upgrades onboard, including engraved Robert Welch caviar bowls, handwritten keepsake menus highlighting culinary and wine pairings, and gloved cabin service to elevate in-flight hospitality.

Emirates First Class passengers also enjoy access to 43 exclusive Emirates Lounges globally, along with complimentary Chauffeur Drive Service across most destinations—ensuring a smooth, door-to-door premium travel experience.
