Air France's New Nonstop Route
Air France is expanding its long-haul network with a new destination in the Middle East. Starting May 19, 2025, the airline will introduce a direct flight between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Initially, there will be three flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from May 19 to June 1, 2025. After this period, the schedule will expand to five flights per week, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays starting June 2, 2025.
These flights will be operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which feature a total of 324 seats: 34 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy, and 266 in Economy Class.
Flight Schedule (in local time):
- AF684: departing Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 11:20 p.m., arriving in Riyadh at 6:25 a.m. the next day;
- AF685: departing Riyadh at 8:40 a.m., arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 2:20 p.m.
Once this new route is inaugurated, all three airlines of the Air France-KLM Group (Air France, KLM, and Transavia) will offer service to Saudi Arabia. Transavia France has been connecting Paris-Orly and Lyon to Jeddah since December 2024, while KLM links its Amsterdam-Schiphol hub to Riyadh and Dammam. The launch of this new route will strengthen the partnership between Air France and Saudia Airlines.
