Presently, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Trivandrum, and Kolkata are the 10 Indian cities to which Malaysia Airlines offers flights.

New Partnership: IndiGo and Malaysia Airlines Codeshare

A strategic codeshare arrangement was formed between Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo subsequent to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in April 2024. Through this cooperation, the company hopes to improve connectivity and the overall traveller experience at its major hubs in India and Malaysia.

According to a statement on Wednesday, Malaysia Airlines' internal flights from its central hub in Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Langkawi, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching will now include IndiGo's flight code '6E'. Passengers can connect seamlessly with codeshare.
