Emirates Introduces Revamped A380s to Manchester and Milan

Emirates is preparing to introduce its newest Airbus A380s, which will feature updated cabins including Premium Economy, to Manchester and Milan. These revamped A380s will begin flights on EK017/018 to Manchester from June 6, and on EK091/092 to Milan starting July 1. Starting in June, Emirates will introduce its newly retrofitted A380 service to Manchester, significantly boosting its Premium Economy capacity to nearly 5,000 weekly seats for flights in and out of the UK. This enhanced offering for Manchester works in conjunction with the four daily retrofitted A380s currently servicing the Dubai-London Heathrow route, along with the Emirates A350 to Edinburgh and a refurbished Boeing 777, which is set to commence operations to London Stansted in May.

Milan will become Emirates’ second gateway in Italy, showcasing the airline’s latest cabins and Premium Economy seats. This comes after the planned introduction of the airline’s A350 in Bologna at the end of June.

These upgrades will expand Emirates' retrofitted A380 network to 19 international destinations, highlighting the airline's dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience in-flight, along with an enhanced selection of premium cabin options across various regions. Beginning in July, travelers from Manchester and Milan will be able to enjoy Emirates' newest cabin features on the four-class A380 as they journey to major destinations in Australasia and Asia, including Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, Bangalore, and more.

Emirates' four-class aircraft A380 has its Premium Economy cabin positioned at the front of the main deck, comprising 56 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 layout. Each seat boasts generous pitch and width, ideal for both working and unwinding. Notable features include in-seat charging ports and side cocktail tables. The onboard experience is enhanced with carefully selected in-flight amenities, a meticulously crafted menu, and a wide range of beverages, including the exclusive Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, which is available solely for Emirates Premium Economy passengers.
