Air India has appointed Friends Touristik Marketing GmbH & CoKG as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for passenger services in both Austria and Switzerland.

Friends Touristik Marketing GmbH & CoKG will oversee reservations and ticketing, support marketing efforts, and provide comprehensive passenger sales assistance throughout the region for Air India, guaranteeing effective and personalized service for travel agents and customers. This collaboration seeks to enhance passenger traffic linked to Air India’s flights to and from Vienna, Zurich, and other destinations.

Alongside Friends Touristik Marketing's commitment to quality, this will ensure passengers receive a world-class travel experience. Air India operates five flights weekly to and from Zurich, and four flights weekly to and from Vienna, providing non-stop connections between these cities and India, as well as convenient one-stop options to Southeast Asian destinations. The airline uses its Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Zurich and Vienna routes, featuring 18 Business Class flat beds and 238 Economy Class seats. As part of its continuous transformation program, Air India is modernizing its fleet and rolling out new products and services.
